Art Nouveau

The building, designed by the architect Trompowsky was built in 1910. It has been restored after a long period of neglect, and is now coming back to its former glory as an outstanding example of Art Nouveau in Riga.

This building is an exceptional example of the genre. Artistically it fits in with the environment, and has harmonious proportions and an excellent choice of decoration. It unites elegance, comfort, rational construction and originality. We feel justly proud of this masterpiece.

The restored building exudes the special aura of the period. It is not only an excellent investment, but also a place to which it is a pleasure to return every day.

This is a unique building and we therefore sought the best possible solutions and options for the restoration. The facade was completely reconstructed so that it is again as it was in the beginning; it retains its historic appearance.

The apartments we offer are completely reconstructed, well planned and well lit. All the utilities have been replaced, and extremely efficient state-of-the-art solutions are in place for insulation.

In order to preserve the historic value, architectonic elements such as the stoves - for example the stove with Dutch tiles with floral patterns designed by E. Trampowsky in 1896 were retained, as were the ceiling decorations, the tiles, the stained glass and other such elements characteristic of this form of art.

At the same time every modern convenience has been installed for the comfort of the residents. There are modern elevators at every stairway in the building. The apartment owners may have air conditioning and there is the optional possibility of constructing a fireplace. As said, the utilities correspond to the highest modern standards.

For safety reasons, there is a position for a guard in the lobby of the Art Nouveau building.

The building in all its beauty seems designed for successful people whose requirements are high both for themselves and for those around them.

Art Moderne

We are so different – some are carried away by history, architectonic buildings, classics, while others prefer modern era architecture, modern design, minimalism, with preservation of such values as steadiness, coherence and attractiveness created by modern means. Being aware of the different preferences we wanted to develop a project which would comprise historical and modern harmony.

The Art Moderne building presents the functionality characteristic of modernist architecture, which is more orientated towards the satisfaction of practical need. The modern and functional residential building has a painted plaster finish, combined harmoniously with glass. The apartments on the top floors have small terraces which add to the value of these apartments in the center of the city.

This is in fact a new and exquisite building based on the state-of-the-art technologies of the modern architecture. It is for people who are able to value the importance of comfort and quality.
